Minesweeper:Chain

The modified version of the classic game "Minesweeper: Chain" aims to reduce the chance of you having to guess where to place a flag as its main goal. Now, in addition to knowing the number of mines around, you also have information about the length of the chain of mines. For example, you know that a "two" isn't just 2 mines but a chain of 2 mines, which can help narrow down possibilities in certain situations to just 1.

The color of the marker depends on the chain's length, and it's not necessary for all mines in the chain to be directly adjacent to the labeled number. Below is the color code based on the chain's length. Yes, after 8, it's impossible to determine the exact chain length, but in such situations, it's rarely helpful.

Different numbers have a different number of markers, indicating the maximum number of chains. For example, a "4" can have 4 markers, while a "5" can only have 3 because placing a bomb between 2 mines makes them one chain.

If several markers are not lit, it means they are not in use, and the lit markers have already marked all the found chains. This is one of the most powerful tools for locating mines since it helps you understand when mines are located together.

There's one exception to this rule, as shown below. It was initially a bug, but I believe it's a correct feature since knowing that the mines are not adjacent is more important than knowing they are in one chain.
